“You are more than what happened to you. your past is part of your story, but it is not the definition of who you are.”

— Victoria Freeman, Author

MY STORY MY PURPOSE

My journey has been shaped by experiences that profoundly affected my identity, my sense of self-worth, and the way I viewed the world.

As an adult survivor of child sex trafficking, physical violence, and drug-facilitated victimization, I endured years of trauma, including a pregnancy during my childhood resulting from sexual exploitation.

For many years, I felt as though I had lost my identity. I struggled to understand who I was beyond the experiences that had shaped so much of my life.

There were times when I felt stuck and trapped in my past, struggling to recognize the woman I was beneath the weight of years of trauma.

Rediscovering my identity was a gradual process that unfolded over many years. It became a deeply personal journey of understanding who I was beyond my experiences, reclaiming my voice, recognizing my worth, and finding purpose beyond the trauma I had endured.

Creating a Forward Life grew out of that journey of self-discovery. Today, it represents my commitment to encouraging others to recognize that their past does not have to define their identity, their worth, or their future.

I am more than what happened to me. My identity, my voice, and my purpose extend beyond my past.
